WIT
MARCH 27TH AND 28TH @ 7PM
Doors open at 6:30
North Sanpete High School's award-winning theater department presents Margaret Edson's masterpiece, "Wit". Seating is general admission and tickets are pay what you want at the door!

Vivian Bearing, Ph.D., a renowned professor of English who has spent years studying and teaching the brilliant and difficult metaphysical sonnets of John Donne, has been diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer. But during the course of her illness—and her stint as a prize patient in an experimental chemotherapy program at a major teaching hospital—Vivian comes to reassess her life and her work with a profundity and humor that are transformative both for her and the audience.

Margaret Edson’s powerfully imagined Pulitzer Prize–winning play examines what makes life worth living through her exploration of one of existence’s unifying experiences—mortality—while she also probes the vital importance of human relationships.

We ask that you leave the babies and toddlers in arms with a sitter for the night, so that you and everyone else can enjoy the performance without undue interruptions.
“Wit is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.”
"I regard theater as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."
-Oscar Wilde
